Annual Good Cheer Parties
For over 18 years, The Annual Good Cheer Gift Giving Party has been making the holiday season a reality to hundreds of children who might not celebrate the holidays otherwise, allowing them to eat treats and celebrate the mutual love and happiness of the holidays together with people who care. Many of these children have siblings in the foster care system who they only see at these events, making it truly special for them.

Community Outreach
San Diego Foster Angels is able to provide extra resources throughout the year for at risk youth. We respond to requests from various groups that need support to fill the gaps in their available services. When Youth Assistance Coalition (YAC) was low on winter clothing for homeless youth we held a clothing drive and stocked their closets. For their incredible outreach program, we supplied hundreds of large snack packs for volunteers to share with homeless youth. Straight from the Heart is a resale store serving foster families and we support the regular volunteers who run the shop by organizing, sorting and stocking merchandise twice a month. Free to Fly supports recovering victims of trafficking and we contribute to their care packages and local needs. We were able to provide birthday parties for girls living in a residential treatment home for highly traumatized youth. Polinsky Center, an emergency shelter for youth awaiting placement, asked for an update to their Game Room and we were able deliver. We have a passionate team of volunteers and financial support from the community that allows us to say Yes when there is a way to bring joy to those who need it most.
