Making a Difference
San Diego Foster Angels teams up with family services organizations that assist foster families, both those in agency care and those who are independent. We collaborate with these agencies to offer gift-giving, parties, cooking classes, and year-round support for children in group homes.
“San Diego Foster Angels has helped the youth we serve at Tiffany’s Place, who are survivors of sex trafficking, in so many ways. They helped provide Christmas presents for youth in our short-term residential therapeutic program, for one youth it was her first time celebrating Christmas. They refer professionals who can teach our girls special skills such as self-defense and cooking. San Diego Foster Angels partners with us to make every birthday special for our girls. Many of our youth do not have positive memories surrounding holidays and their birthdays, San Diego Foster Angels helps to change that.”
